Rolling hills, green fairways and quiet water have a way of slowing a day down. At Wolf Run Golf Club, that landscape becomes the setting for the whole celebration.
The club is located in Janetville, near Lake Scugog in the Kawartha Lakes region. Sitting on the Durham and Kawartha border, it offers an escape from the city while remaining within easy reach of the GTA.
Wolf Run welcomes both wedding ceremonies and receptions, with rolling greens, gardens and water features creating a natural backdrop for vows and photographs.
For the reception, the club's Marquee Tent is designed to be transformed to reflect each couple's personal style, and it has a poured concrete floor. The newly renovated clubhouse has a fresh, modern design, while a large patio gives guests room for cocktails and dancing. The club has also recently added a new timber-kit pavilion for events.
The team offers a variety of customizable wedding packages and catering, and works with couples from inspiration and planning through to the final toast. Couples can reach the club's food and beverage manager and event coordinator directly to begin planning.
For out-of-town family or the wedding party, Wolf Run's Stay N' Play property is a four-bedroom house on Pigeon Creek that sleeps up to 10 people, just a few minutes from the course, with a fire pit for evenings together.
And for guests who golf, arriving a little early to play a round may be the perfect way to start the weekend.
For couples who picture a relaxed country wedding with open greens, a tent that becomes entirely their own and a team guiding every step, Wolf Run Golf Club offers a celebration rooted in the Kawarthas landscape.
