What we collect
Your email, what you put in listings and inquiries, and (sellers) the transfer document.

Transfer documents
They live in private storage, are seen only by our review team, never by buyers or the public, and are deleted within 7 days of the review decision. You can ask us to redact details before review.

Masked email
Buyer and seller emails stay masked through our relay until the seller chooses to reply.

No selling, no trackers
We never sell your data. No ad trackers; a privacy-friendly visit counter only (no cookie banner needed).

Payments
Payments run through Stripe; card numbers never touch our servers.

Email from us
We email you only about your own listings, inquiries and purchases, plus alerts you asked for; every alert has one-click unsubscribe.

Email support@opendates.ca for a copy or deletion of everything we hold about you.

Calendar sync
If a business links a calendar, we read only which days are booked. We do not read event titles, descriptions, guests, email addresses or locations, so a couple’s name and details never reach us. The calendar file is read and discarded, never stored. The link itself is read-only, is kept encrypted, and can be removed at any time, which stops the reading at once.
