No two weddings look the same, and that’s exactly what I love about them. Some are intimate City Hall celebrations followed by a beautiful portrait session, while others take me to the other side of the world for multi-day celebrations filled with family, tradition and adventure. Because every wedding is so unique, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Do you use film?
Yes! Film is a huge part of how I see and photograph weddings. I shoot both digital and analogue film, including 35mm and medium format. I love the softness, texture and beautiful imperfections that film brings to a gallery, and I blend it naturally with my digital work throughout the day.
Do you travel?
Absolutely. Travel is a big part of my work, with many of the weddings I photograph taking me outside Toronto and around the world. From intimate celebrations close to home to multi-day destination weddings in places like Italy, I genuinely love the adventure of photographing somewhere new. Tell me where we’re going!
Tell me about your process.
It starts with getting to know you. I want to hear about your plans, the people who matter to you, and how you want your wedding to feel. From there, I help build photography coverage around your day, collaborate on the timeline, scout out opportunities for beautiful photographs, and make sure you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera.
On the wedding day, my approach is a balance of documentary and editorial. I’ll step in with direction when it’s helpful, create space for beautiful portraits, and then disappear into the background when the real moments are unfolding. The goal is
How long have you been a photographer?
I’ve been a photographer for over 17 years! I studied photography at OCAD University and have spent my career photographing people, celebrations and stories. After all these years, I still get genuinely excited about every wedding and finding new ways to create something unique for each couple.
Do you offer engagement and pre-wedding sessions?
Yes! I love engagement and pre-wedding sessions. They’re an opportunity to create something completely separate from the wedding day, without a timeline pulling us in different directions.
Sessions can be as relaxed as wandering through your favourite neighbourhood together, or we can dream up something more editorial with multiple looks, locations, film and a creative concept. For destination weddings, we can even plan a session around the landscape and experience of being somewhere incredible together.
