Whitlock Golf & Country Club

At Whitlock Golf & Country Club, a wedding begins on an open air terrace overlooking the green at a private club in Hudson that has stood for more than a century.

Founded in 1912 on land bought from the Whitlock property, the club still carries the name of Mrs. Whitlock, whose garden home backs onto one of the fairways. Her portrait, painted by the first club captain, hangs in the clubhouse foyer.

The Terrace beside the Darling Room looks out over 9 South and serves as a lovely setting for ceremonies and pre dinner cocktails in summer.

The Darling Room, named for the club's first president and his family, is a classic banquet room with panoramic windows and elegant décor that hosts weddings of up to 250 guests. It connects to the Bradshaw Room, a bright, traditionally furnished space for smaller family gatherings.

A covered Veranda and the Hunter Lounge add relaxed spaces for cocktails, and the club's fine dining is tailored to each couple, with a dedicated team and trusted professionals looking after the details.
