Some couples are drawn to a place where the landscape does most of the decorating.
Villa Vista Montagna is a privately owned estate in South Langley, British Columbia, with several acres of display gardens, lakes and a waterfall, along with sweeping parklands, hay fields and a lavender field.
The gardens change with the seasons. Roses bloom through much of the summer, daisy beds flower from spring into July, and the lavender field has two bloom times. From the highest point on the property, there are views in every direction.
The estate hosts outdoor weddings from spring to autumn, by appointment only, with options ranging from elopements for up to 15 people and microweddings for up to 35 to full ceremonies and receptions for up to 150 guests, including the officiant, attendants and wedding party.
The rental covers the outdoor garden venue. Microweddings and larger weddings work with a pre-approved professional event coordinator, and the estate keeps a list of approved vendors. The house itself is a private residence and is not used for events.
The grounds are cared for with real attention. Koi live in the ponds, sculptures are placed in the landscape, and guests are asked to stay on the designated walkways and enjoy the plantings without touching them.
A couple might picture photographs by the water, a walk past the lavender and a celebration where gardens and open vistas frame every moment.
For couples who want a private garden setting of lakes, flowers and open fields in South Langley, Villa Vista Montagna offers a place where the landscape becomes part of the story.
We never use a venue’s photos without permission.
