Some celebrations are defined by the view. At Viewpointe Estate Winery, it is the wide expanse of Lake Erie.

Located on the north shore of Lake Erie in Harrow, the winery sits in the heart of Canada's oldest wine-growing region. Its design was inspired by the Mettawas, a luxury hotel built by Hiram Walker in 1890.

Viewpointe welcomes weddings, showers, anniversaries and other special occasions, with indoor and outdoor venues across the property.

The Erie Room, known as the room with a view, is a second-storey banquet hall that comfortably seats 120. A wraparound balcony invites guests outside to take in the lake, and the room is furnished with wide chairs and custom-made tables, with private washrooms and an elevator.

Outdoors, an expansive lawn gives guests room to wander, and the manicured vineyard creates a picture-perfect setting for photographs.

The Lakeside Patio, where the lawn meets the seating area, can host cocktail parties and private events, while the Colchester Room beside the underground barrel room offers a more intimate space with the faint scent of oak and wine.

The property also includes a modern Culinary Arts Centre for cooking demonstrations and hands-on classes.
