An intimate wedding at Victoria's feels like a candlelit dinner party, with floral centrepieces and dark tapered candles set against a blue tufted banquette.

Victoria's is a steakhouse in Hamilton's Victoria Park neighbourhood, at a King Street West address that has been home to hotels, bars and restaurants for more than a century.

Couples can book the private dining room for up to 12 guests, or take over the whole restaurant for a seated dinner of 75 or a standing cocktail party of 110. Private events of 30 or more have their own events package.

The menu centres on Canadian and Argentinian beef, dry-aged and matured cuts and Wagyu, cooked simply over high heat. Bar service is charged on consumption, and there is a lounge for drinks before or after dinner.

The restaurant also hosts rehearsal dinners, and guests can park across the street at Victoria Park.
