At the University of Manitoba, a wedding can unfold on a campus in south Winnipeg, right on the banks of the Red River.

The university's conference and catering team works with couples to plan the day from start to finish, offering a choice of campus event spaces along with decor and floral options to set the mood.

The in-house catering staff can prepare buffet meals, plated dinners and cocktail receptions with hors d'oeuvres, and they are happy to tailor a menu to a couple's tastes and budget. The campus is about 20 minutes from both the airport and downtown, which makes it easy for out of town guests to reach.

For couples who picture a riverside celebration with a thoughtful menu and a team that looks after the details, the University of Manitoba offers a campus wedding that feels relaxed and well cared for.
