Some celebrations call for a room that feels grand the moment the doors open. High ceilings, sparkling crystal chandeliers and a little Tuscan warmth can do a lot of the work before a single centrepiece is placed.

Tosca Banquet Hall sits on Champlain Avenue in Oshawa, a short drive from Highway 401 at Thickson Road. The hall takes great pride in its Tuscan-inspired ballrooms, which it describes as a canvas for couples to shape around their own vision.

There are several spaces to choose from. The Viletta welcomes up to approximately 120 guests, the Florentine up to around 160, and the Grand Ballroom can host up to approximately 350 guests for larger celebrations.

Ceremonies can take place on site as well. The Tent can accommodate up to around 280 guests for a ceremony and 180 for a reception, while the Garden offers a ceremony setting for up to approximately 100 guests.

Tosca offers a variety of professionally built menu packages, or couples can customize their own menu. Menus can be adjusted to suit guests' tastes, the couple's budget and any dietary restrictions.

Planning support is part of the experience too. A personal event coordinator guides couples through the entire process, from the first conversations through to the day of the wedding.
