The Sarnia Riding Club

There is something unforgettable about saying your vows with Lake Huron stretching out behind you and the trees closing in softly on either side.

The Sarnia Riding Club is a non-profit private member's club set on the sandy shores of Lake Huron, within a private wooded setting in Sarnia.

From April to October, couples can hold an outdoor ceremony on the bluff at the water's edge, then bring everyone inside to the dining room for the reception.

That room is the heart of the celebration. It features a large stone fireplace, hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and views of the lake, and it can accommodate up to approximately 120 guests for a seated meal or around 135 for a cocktail-style reception.

Couples can choose a sit-down dinner, a cocktail reception or a mix of both, and the room is set to the layout they prefer.

Round or rectangular guest tables, cocktail tables and chairs are included, along with glassware, stemware, white china, silverware and bartenders.

Select locations around the property are also available for photographs, so the lake and woods can be part of the pictures as well as the ceremony.
