Some weddings are meant to feel like a weekend away from everything. At The Hollows Camp, meadows, forest and a private lake set the tone the moment guests arrive.
Located in Bradford, about one hour north of Toronto and in the highlands north of the Holland Marsh, The Hollows spans 87 acres. It has been a children's summer camp and outdoor venue space since 1981, owned and operated by the Fine family.
The Hollows focuses on micro weddings, with guest lists of approximately 20 to 60 people and exclusive use of the property, so a celebration never has to feel crowded.
The land itself is the main attraction. There is a private spring-fed lake with kayaking, canoeing and beach swimming, kilometres of forested walking trails, meditation areas and an indoor and outdoor yoga shala.
The dining hall offers full-service catering with customized meal options, and the traditional two-storey camp building includes indoor seating and dining along with large canopy areas for outdoor dining.
Rustic cabins mean guests can stay on the property, turning a wedding into something closer to a shared getaway. A campfire pit waits under the stars once the sun goes down.
Friends might spend the afternoon paddling on the lake, walking the forest trails or playing on the lawn, then gather around the fire as the night settles over the meadows.
For couples who want a small wedding with the whole property to themselves and the feeling of summer camp for grown-ups, The Hollows Camp offers a setting that is easy, natural and full of room to explore.
We never use a venue’s photos without permission.
