The Hill Venue feels like the kind of place where a Nova Scotia wedding is allowed to slow down and become an entire weekend rather than one rushed evening.

Set just outside Bridgewater, the private barn venue can welcome celebrations of up to approximately 120 guests. Towering ceilings and warm wooden character make the barn impressive before a single table is dressed, while hanging Edison lights bring a softer glow once evening begins.

Couples receive three days of access to the barn and property, giving them time before the wedding to decorate and settle in rather than racing against the clock.

Tables, an eclectic collection of wooden chairs, a bar cart, ceremony arbors, lighting, a PA system and other wedding pieces are available on site. Outside, a stone fire pit and country surroundings extend the celebration beyond the barn.

For couples who picture rustic romance without sacrificing thoughtful practical details, The Hill offers a warm and wonderfully private place for everyone they love to gather.
