The Hayloft Dancehall

The Hayloft Dancehall gives couples a Prince Edward County wedding with the kind of character that could never be manufactured inside a newly built ballroom.

The barn has stood for around 170 years and has spent decades as one of the County's favourite places for music, dancing and long summer nights. Today, couples can take over the venue for private weddings of up to approximately 200 guests.

Inside, lofty barn arches rise over a room filled with warm wood and fairy lights. Outside, a spacious patio gives guests somewhere to gather for cocktails and fresh air before the music pulls everyone back toward the dance floor.

There is on-site parking, and the venue sits only minutes from Sandbanks, with campgrounds, cottages and Prince Edward County accommodations nearby.

For couples who want their wedding to feel less like a formal banquet and more like the best barn party anyone has ever been invited to, The Hayloft offers history, music and a genuine County spirit.
