The Greens at Renton in Simcoe is set amid an award-winning 27-hole golf course and offers multiple spaces for the ceremony, the reception and the photographs.
In season, the in-house Court Yard hosts ceremonies of all sizes, from intimate gatherings of around 20 guests to larger services of up to approximately 170 seated guests. The venue also partners with Whistling Gardens, less than ten minutes away, for other ceremony locations.
Receptions take place in the Greens Ballroom, which returned to full wedding use in May 2024 and welcomes up to approximately 200 guests year round, with views across the course.
For smaller weddings, the Garden Room sits beside the courtyard with views of the private garden and hosts receptions of up to around 40 guests.
Hardwood floors and light walls with dark accents let any colour palette stand out, and outside decorators are welcome. Round, rectangular, cocktail and barrel accent tables are available in house.
Couples and their wedding party can head out to on-course photo locations, and customizable timelines make room for moments like a private first dance.
Planning is led by Director of Events Emilie Kershaw, a certified wedding planner, coordinator and consultant with the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada.
