The Capitol Centre

The Capitol Centre offers couples the drama of a historic theatre without asking the wedding to feel theatrical in the wrong way.

The restored 1929 building remains one of North Bay's most recognizable cultural landmarks, with the Betty Speers Theatre, WKP Kennedy Gallery and Spotlight Lounge all under the same roof.

The Spotlight Lounge is a ballroom-style room for about 60 to 75 guests, hung with artwork and home to a baby grand piano, with a full kitchen next door and a bar available for the celebration.

For something grander, the 932-seat Betty Speers Theatre, with its orchestra level and balcony, brings a true historic stage to the day. Couples should confirm current wedding arrangements directly with the Centre.
