Teatro Ristorante

A wedding at Teatro Ristorante unfolds inside a grand 1911 bank building in downtown Calgary, where soaring ceilings and Italian marble set a scene of old world elegance.

Teatro is a fine dining restaurant housed in the historic Dominion Bank Building, and the century old interior has been thoughtfully preserved. It has been part of Calgary's dining scene for 30 years.

The Opera Room is the private dining room, with dramatic 18 foot ceilings, clean lines and marble accents. It is completely separate from the main dining room, with its own entrance on 1st Street SE, its own bar, coat check and washrooms. It seats 50 guests or hosts up to 100 for cocktails, and is well suited to small wedding receptions.

For larger celebrations, Teatro hosts events of every size, from two guests to more than 200.

The cooking is contemporary Mediterranean grounded in Italian tradition, paired with an award winning wine cellar of more than 1,000 labels.

An in-house events manager guides the planning, with access to trusted local vendors and a seasoned service team on the day.
