Some weddings are best kept small, with every guest close enough to share a toast and every dish worth remembering.
Sterling Inn & Spa is a boutique hotel in Niagara Falls. Its building dates back to 1928, when it opened as Cairns Creameries, later becoming the Bordens Dairy, a local landmark for more than four decades before its transformation into the inn guests know today.
Weddings centre on Rouge, the hotel's private event space, designed for intimate receptions, rehearsals and showers of approximately 20 to 50 guests.
Food comes from AG Inspired Cuisine, the hotel's award-winning farm-to-table restaurant. Dishes are inspired by the seasons and use fresh local ingredients sourced from the restaurant's own farm, prepared by Executive Chef Cory Linkson.
All-inclusive packages bring together a three-course set menu, wine service during dinner and options such as a five-hour open bar, a champagne toast, hand-passed hors d'oeuvres and a late-night after-glow. Couples also enjoy a menu tasting, white linens, a microphone and projector, and complimentary parking and Wi-Fi.
The inn has 41 guest rooms, with features such as fireplaces, steam showers and jetted tubs, and couples can add overnight accommodation, dinner or spa reservations for their guests based on availability.
With a spa on the lower level and the Falls nearby, a small wedding here can easily stretch into a relaxed weekend.
For couples who want an intimate celebration with exceptional food and a romantic place to stay, Sterling Inn & Spa offers a wedding that feels personal from the first course to the last dance.
