Steep Island Lodge

Steep Island Lodge gives couples something wonderfully rare: an entire private island for the wedding.

Reached from Campbell River, the property is surrounded by Discovery Passage, old-growth forest, rocky shoreline and the wildlife of coastal British Columbia. Weddings can welcome approximately 5 to 75 guests, allowing anything from an intimate elopement to a close family celebration.

Couples can hold both the ceremony and reception on the island, while accommodation for roughly 22 people means the closest part of the wedding party can remain overnight. Transportation between Campbell River and the island is included as part of the experience.

For photographs, there are forests, shoreline, tidal pools and ocean views in almost every direction.
