A celebration can take on a fresh, modern feeling in a space filled with natural light, with Lake Ontario just across the road.
St. Lawrence College Event and Banquet Services hosts gatherings on the college's Kingston campus, in a residential neighbourhood across from Lake Ontario and close to the city's dining, culture and recreation.
The centrepiece is the Event, Conference and Banquet Centre, offering 5,500 square feet of event space with plenty of natural light, state-of-the-art technology and a large outdoor patio. The space is dividable and can welcome anywhere from a handful of people up to approximately 400 guests.
The campus also offers a range of other distinctive spaces, including the Dining Hall, the Upper Concourse, the Muis Lounge, the Innovation Hub and the exterior grounds, with capacities from small groups to around 500 guests.
Food is handled through the college's partner, Brown's Fine Dining Solutions, with menus that range from plated sit-down meals to breakfasts and coffee breaks, with attention to special dietary needs. Host or cash bar service is available in many venues across the campus.
The events team coordinates the practical details, including room setups, audio-visual support, parking and décor needs, so the planning can come together in one place.
From May to August, the college's residence offers single and double occupancy rooms, which could give out-of-town family and friends somewhere convenient to stay close to the celebration.
