About
Southwood Community Hall

A community hall wedding has a particular warmth. The room feels familiar, the celebration feels personal, and the whole evening belongs to the people in it.

Southwood Community Hall, run by the Edmonton Southwood Community League, sits in a quiet residential neighbourhood, surrounded by parkland.

The banquet hall has windows and an open timber-supported ceiling, with beautiful floors and space for up to 205 guests.

Round and rectangular tables are included with rental, and the hall is equipped with a sound system and a projector with a 10-foot screen for slideshows or speeches.

A commercial kitchen supports caterers, and a board room is also part of the facility.

The hall is wheelchair accessible, with plenty of parking and guest WiFi. Viewings are by appointment through the league office.

For couples who want a relaxed, personal reception in a bright community hall, Southwood Community Hall offers a welcoming space that is easy to make their own.
