Southern Alberta Ethnic Association

A wedding is a meeting of families, and often of cultures too. At the Multicultural Centre, home of the Southern Alberta Ethnic Association, celebrating diversity is the whole point.

The centre sits at the edge of downtown Lethbridge at 421 6th Avenue South, close to hotels, the Southern Alberta Art Gallery and downtown boutiques and coffee houses, and easily reached from the main highway.

For weddings, the Multicultural Ballroom suits intimate celebrations of around 80 guests, while the Diversity Ballroom welcomes around 120. Together, the combined Multicultural Diversity Ballroom can accommodate approximately 200 people.

Ceremony and reception setups are both available, and the event coordinator works with couples to create a layout that suits the day and the guests.

Catering is exclusive, with western and ethnic menu choices through the association's partner Exquisite Catering. Partnerships with Lethbridge Event Rentals and Sonic Sound Multimedia help with decor and audiovisual needs.

The Courtland Boardroom and Round Street Room offer smaller spaces for other gatherings around the wedding.
