At Seven Oaks House Museum, couples can marry in the front garden of Winnipeg's oldest home, framed by tall trees and green lawns.

Established in 1831, Seven Oaks House was the stately country manor of the Inkster family, Scottish-Métis traders, and it still stands near the Red River in the city's north end.

Wedding ceremonies and small catered receptions take place in the scenic front garden. The museum is surrounded by a large park with plenty of trees and green space.

There is no kitchen on site, so couples bring in a caterer for their celebration. Photo and video sessions on the grounds can also be booked.

For couples who picture a garden ceremony beside a heritage home full of family stories, Seven Oaks House Museum offers a wedding with rare history in the heart of Winnipeg.
