Some celebrations are made by the table: long dinners, generous courses and a room full of people who came hungry and happy. Sala San Marco has been creating that kind of evening for more than thirty years in the heart of Ottawa's Little Italy.
The venue is located in Ottawa, with easy access from major roads, a private parking lot and plenty of public parking nearby.
The main ballroom is a newly renovated space of more than 4,000 square feet, with high ceilings, chandeliers and luxurious décor. Across its rooms, the venue offers seating for up to approximately 500 guests.
The Chandelier Room is a 3,000-square-foot space for up to around 150 guests, with a hardwood dance floor, high ceilings and a warm, sophisticated atmosphere.
For smaller gatherings, the Amadeo Room hosts up to about 80 guests and has a built-in projector, screen and sound system, while the DaVinci Room on the lower level hosts up to around 80 and has its own private bar and fireplace. These rooms suit showers, engagement parties and intimate celebrations.
Onsite coordinators and chefs work with couples to design the day. Food is prepared entirely on site, with meat, fish and produce sourced locally and in season, and the kitchen can accommodate allergies and requests such as kosher, halal or organic menus.
Sala San Marco is fully licensed and offers cocktail, dinner and buffet menus. The venue has been recognized by the Ottawa Wedding Awards as Best Venue.
