Royal Ashburn gives couples room to decide whether their wedding should feel grand, intimate or somewhere beautifully between the two.

The Whitby-area property combines sweeping golf course scenery with several ceremony and reception spaces, allowing the day to change character as it unfolds. Couples can exchange vows outdoors in one of the garden settings or choose an indoor ceremony when the season or weather calls for something more sheltered.

For the reception, the Compton Room can accommodate celebrations of up to approximately 240 guests. Its high ceilings and terrace overlooking the course make it particularly suited to a larger gathering where couples still want plenty of natural scenery around them.

The Ashburn Room creates a different atmosphere for gatherings of up to approximately 140. Vaulted ceilings, a sunroom, fireplace, garden views and private patio give the space a warmer, more intimate character.

The property also offers on-site accommodations and an experienced wedding and events team, meaning couples can keep more of the wedding experience together in one destination.

Perhaps that is what Royal Ashburn does best. It lets the day move. Vows can happen among the gardens, photographs can disappear out toward the grounds, cocktails can drift onto a terrace and everyone can gather again for the reception as evening settles over the course.
