About
Ross Creek Centre for the Arts

At the Ross Creek Centre for the Arts, a wedding can gather under white tents among meadows and gardens, with views across to the Bay of Fundy.

The centre sits on 178 acres of farm and forest on the North Mountain of the Annapolis Valley near Canning, a few minutes from Blomidon. Vegetable gardens, woods, ponds and open meadows surround the buildings, and walking trails lead into the forest where deer and eagles are often seen.

For celebrations outdoors, the centre has three white tents: two 20-foot squares and a 40-foot octagon with a high peak. Inside, large studios with high ceilings, galleries with red floors and flexible spaces can host dining and dancing.

The centre's chef cooks from a licensed kitchen using seasonal ingredients from the gardens, or an outside chef can be arranged.

Rustic overnight stays are available in a seven-bedroom farmhouse and in heated bunkhouses set around a field with a campfire area. Wolfville, with its restaurants, cafes and galleries, is close by.

The centre is open for events ten months of the year and is generally not available in July or August.

For couples who picture an artful country celebration with tents in a meadow, a garden-to-table feast and the Fundy shore on the horizon, the Ross Creek Centre for the Arts offers a wedding that feels creative, rustic and close to the land.
