Rorab Shrine Club

Some of the warmest wedding receptions happen in community halls, where the focus is on good food, familiar faces and a room full of people who came to celebrate.

The Rorab Shrine Club, located in North Bay, is home to local Shriners who have been helping children since 1927. Its hall rental specializes in weddings, receptions, reunions and business events.

The air-conditioned and heated hall is described as an intimate space that easily handles about 100 guests, a comfortable size for a family-centred celebration.

Food can be approached in whichever way suits the couple. You can bring in your own caterer, ask for a list of recommended caterers, take advantage of the club's catering advice, or prepare food yourself in the fully equipped kitchen. The club also handles small on-site catering.

Bar service is provided by Smart Serve bartenders under the club's licence, with special orders available on advance notice.

To help dress the room, white seat covers, linen tablecloths and napkins in various colours, and backdrop stands are available to rent.

Practical details are well covered too, with a wheelchair accessible entrance and washroom, a large lighted parking lot and a defibrillator on site. The booking chairman is happy to walk couples through rental and facility details.
