At Riverside Banquet Halls, a wedding is a big, joyful gathering where chandeliers glow overhead, the dance floor fills early and every family tradition has room to shine.
Riverside has been planning celebrations in Richmond for more than 20 years, and its team has looked after over 4,000 weddings in that time. Couples come here for Indian, Asian, Western and blended celebrations, and the halls are set up to welcome both large families and smaller gatherings.
Riverside Palace in Richmond welcomes guests through a canopied entry and opens onto a room with romantic chandeliers, a waterfall feature and a hardwood dance floor. It hosts 200 to 400 guests reception style, with a stage, two bars, a coffee bar and two screens with projectors.
The Grand Ballroom, also in Richmond, is the larger choice, seating 300 to 600 guests, with a lobby and an outdoor patio for mingling before dinner.
Ceremonies can take place indoors or out, and the room is turned over for the reception so guests can stay in one place for the whole day.
Food comes from an international kitchen with menus shaped around each couple, and tastings are part of the planning. An all inclusive package brings together the hall, a sound system and DJ, bar service with a bring your own option, and security.
An on site decor showroom helps couples choose backdrops, tabletop designs, walkway pieces, chair covers, sashes, centrepieces and Chiavari chairs to suit their theme.
For couples who picture a grand reception with their whole community, a full dance floor and a menu that honours where their families come from, Riverside Banquet Halls offers a wedding that handles every detail under one roof.
