River Spirit Golf Club

At River Spirit Golf Club, couples can say their vows on open green fairways in the Elbow River Valley with the Rocky Mountains rising in the distance.

The club sits on Calgary's western edge, about 30 minutes from the city centre, with three nine hole courses lined with trees and natural rough. Weddings can be held indoors or out.

Outdoor ceremonies take place by the driving range and the Cattails course, or in the club's marquee tent, at either a morning or an early evening start. Couples have time afterward for photos on the scenic course, with golf carts to reach the best spots, and a rehearsal is included.

Receptions are held on the patio and in the lounge for up to 60 guests, or in the event tent for 80 to 200. Cocktail hour can spill into the clubhouse or the tent, with a garden setup when needed.

The executive chef offers hors d'oeuvres, buffet and plated dinners, and a late night snack station, and will adapt menus for allergies and dietary needs. Bar service can be hosted, ticketed or cash, and full setup and teardown are included.
