In the Kootenay Rockies, a wedding can easily become a weekend shared with the people who travelled to be there.

Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort in Cranbrook proudly hosts weddings, with options available for on-site ceremonies and receptions.

The Grand Ballroom is the resort's largest space at 4,000 square feet. It can seat up to 220 guests banquet style or around 390 for a reception, giving larger weddings room for dinner, speeches and dancing.

Smaller celebrations have options too. The Junior Ballroom seats up to 78 for a banquet, while the Fernie, Baker and Van Horne Salons each seat between 64 and 75. The Lady Agnes and Sam Steele rooms and the Anderson Suite suit rehearsal dinners and intimate gatherings.

A professional convention manager and talented chefs help organize each event, audio visual equipment is available, and catering through the Fire and Oak restaurant is also an option.

Because it is a resort, guests can stay close to the celebration, turning the wedding into a relaxed stay in Cranbrook.
