Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge Smithers

In Smithers, the Bulkley Valley sets the scene, and mountain-town charm meets modern convenience.

Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge sits just minutes from downtown Smithers, close to local shops, restaurants and the town's arts and culture scene. The hotel welcomes weddings, including grand receptions for hundreds of guests.

The Summit Ballroom is the largest and most versatile space, accommodating up to approximately 260 guests for a banquet and around 360 for a reception. It can also be divided into three rooms, Cascade, Alpine and Hudson, for smaller celebrations.

Additional rooms include the Yellowhead, Driftwood and Glacier Rooms, each suited to rehearsal dinners, smaller receptions or gatherings of around 35 to 48 seated guests.

The hotel's chefs create the cuisine, including customizable themed menus, and an experienced banquet team looks after the details from planning through to final service.

Guests can stay right on site, with two dining options in Noir Kitchen and Bar and BRIXX Brewhouse, a fitness room, complimentary bike rentals and mountain views. The hotel is dog friendly too.

Family can arrive early, explore hiking trails and historic walking tours nearby, and gather over a craft drink at the brewhouse before the big day.

For couples who picture a Northern BC wedding with mountain surroundings, a generous ballroom and everyone staying under one roof, Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge Smithers offers a warm and welcoming home base.
