Located within the Port Whitby Marina clubhouse, the lounge is surrounded by parkland, waterfront trails and panoramic views across the harbour, creating an intimate setting for weddings of up to approximately 100 guests.
The room offers around 2,100 square feet of event space and can be used year-round, making it a lovely possibility for couples who want the feeling of a waterfront wedding without placing the entire celebration outdoors.
Large windows keep the marina close throughout the day. Boats, water and changing skies become part of the scenery while guests remain comfortably inside for dinner and the reception.
The surrounding waterfront gives couples plenty of opportunities to step away for photographs. A walk along the marina or nearby trail can create those quieter moments between the ceremony and dinner when the two people at the centre of everything finally get a few minutes alone.
Because the space is intentionally smaller than a large ballroom, celebrations here can feel wonderfully connected. One hundred people is enough for a lively room while still allowing couples to recognize every face around them.
