Pinestone Resort & Conference Centre

Some celebrations are best shared over a whole weekend in cottage country. Pinestone Resort has been a retreat in the Haliburton Highlands for decades.

Located on Haliburton County Road 21 just outside Haliburton, the resort is in the midst of a revitalization led by a team of passionate locals, blending rustic charm with modern amenities.

Pinestone offers more than 15,000 square feet of event space. Its largest room, the Haliburton Highlands Grand Ballroom, is described by the resort as a perfect location for weddings and social functions.

The ballroom covers 3,120 square feet with 14-foot ceilings, a PA system, a room divider and its own private patio. It seats around 220 guests at round tables, or welcomes up to 300 for a reception, with the ballroom foyer holding around 100 for a reception-style gathering.

For smaller events, the West Guilford Room offers 180-degree views, patio access and plenty of natural light, seating around 88 at round tables or 100 for a reception.

Guests can stay on site in resort rooms with walkout patios or balconies, larger Fairway rooms, villas and chalets that sleep up to ten.

Stone 21, the resort restaurant, serves fresh, local ingredients overlooking the grounds, and the lounge and bar is a relaxed place to gather. Golfers can also enjoy the 18-hole championship course.
