Some places carry their history in their walls. At the Old Stone Inn, original beams and a fireplace still recall the building's beginnings as a working flour mill in 1904.
The Old Stone Inn Boutique Hotel is located in the Fallsview Entertainment District of Niagara Falls, and describes itself as Niagara Falls' only historic boutique hotel. Over the years it has welcomed guests including Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau and Princess Diana.
The hotel offers flexible venues suitable for gatherings and weddings, from intimate rooms to a large open-air space.
The Commons, an outdoor venue for events under the stars, can seat up to approximately 300 guests or host around 500 for a reception, with room for cocktail receptions, lounge seating and live entertainment.
Indoors, the Flour Mill Main Dining Room seats up to approximately 100 guests, or around 150 for a reception. The Earl Grey Room seats around 45 guests, the 1904 Bar around 40, and the Chef's Table up to 14 for a more intimate dinner.
Food comes from The Flour Mill Scratch Kitchen, with seasonal menus built around ingredients from local farmers and artisanal producers, including cured meats and cheeses from Niagara.
Guests can stay on site in historic Mill rooms, styled with vintage furnishings and unique art, or in modern Courtyard rooms with easy access to Stone Square. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool and is dog friendly.
For couples who want a Niagara Falls celebration with historic character, good food and rooms for everyone close by, the Old Stone Inn Boutique Hotel offers a gathering place with a story of its own.
