Niagara Oast House Brewers

A wedding at Niagara Oast House Brewers happens inside a big red barn in Niagara-on-the-Lake, with vineyard views stretching out beyond the windows of the hayloft.

The barn dates to the late 1800s, when it was built for a fruit basket maker. Over the years it also served as a fruit packing shed, a farmers' cooperative, an early farmers' bank and a tractor dealership before becoming a farmhouse brewery in 2011.

The Hayloft is the upstairs event space, styled with a mix of rustic and modern touches. It seats up to 80 guests, and using both floors of the barn opens the celebration to as many as 175. From above, guests can look out over nearby vineyards and down into the brewhouse.

The two-storey patio, built from reclaimed shipping containers, offers wide views across the vines and a stage for live music in season.

Event menus come from the on-site kitchens, with packages built around smoked barbecue or pizza. The bar pours the brewery's own farmhouse ales, along with local wine and a house cocktail.

Guests can begin with a tour of the brewery, which bottle-conditions its ales and uses on-site well water and local ingredients.
