McKenzie Meadows Golf Club

Open fairways and the green edge of Fish Creek Park give McKenzie Meadows Golf Club a relaxed, outdoor kind of beauty.

The club is located in Calgary, where weddings can bring the ceremony, dinner and dancing together in one place.

Ceremonies take place right on site, with views of Fish Creek Park making a lovely setting in spring, summer and fall. A pergola, white chairs, aisle markers and a speaker and microphone are part of the ceremony setup, and in the winter months the clubhouse is available. If the weather turns, outdoor ceremonies may move indoors.

For the reception, the Event Centre welcomes weddings of approximately 30 to 100 guests, while the Clubhouse suits more intimate celebrations of up to around 60. The Event Centre opens onto a long patio with views of the golf course and is available from May 1 through October 31.

Food is prepared on site with the club's Executive Chef, with plated and buffet options, appetizer receptions, midnight buffet options and care for dietary and allergy needs. A fully licensed bar with professional serving staff looks after drinks.

Planning assistance, on-site coordination on the wedding day and coordination with outside vendors such as DJs and photographers are included, along with vendor referrals, AV equipment, reception tables and chairs, tableware and linens.

Free parking, with reserved spots for the wedding party, makes arriving easy, and early setup and takedown options are available. A large white tent can also be rented.

Fish Creek Park and the Bow River offer photo opportunities close by, so a couple might slip away between the ceremony and dinner for portraits as the light softens.
