At the Manoir du lac William, couples celebrate on the shore of Lake William, with the foothills of the Appalachians rising behind.

The manor in Saint-Ferdinand began in 1956 as a small motel and restaurant by the lake. The Lessard family took it over in 1992 and has grown it into a full country inn with more than 50 rooms and suites, a gourmet restaurant and a spa.

Weddings welcome 20 to 180 guests, with six reception rooms of different sizes, many with views over the landscape.

The wedding menu includes a welcome cocktail, wine with dinner, a four-course banquet, a menu tasting, a late coffee service and indoor or outdoor cocktail space, with the reception running until 1 a.m. A bridal suite is provided for the couple.

Guests can stay overnight, relax in the Nordic baths and spa or enjoy boating and hiking nearby.

For couples who picture a lakeside celebration with good food and their guests staying for the weekend, the Manoir du lac William offers a wedding that feels warm and welcoming.
