Limestone Bay Estate

At Limestone Bay Estate, a wedding weekend belongs entirely to the couple and their guests, on a private 70-acre island estate where Lake Ontario meets the St. Lawrence.

The estate is on quiet Simcoe Island, about 2.2 miles from Kingston, reached by the Wolfe Island ferry, a short drive and a five-minute crossing on the Simcoe Islander. Owner Mac Voisin began with a small parcel in 1993 and over three decades joined five properties together, shaping the land with thousands of tons of local limestone.

Vows take place on wide waterfront lawns, or on the decks and stone patios for smaller ceremonies. Mute swans and migrating birds pass by, and Kingston is visible across the water.

Up to 200 guests can celebrate outdoors under a large reception tent, while the indoor event hall seats 48 for an intimate dinner.

A private executive chef cooks for the whole stay, from breakfasts on the deck to multi-course dinners by the water. Bar service is provided by the estate, and couples may bring their own vendors.

The cedar-ceilinged main lodge sleeps 14, and the Lighthouse sleeps 8, with an observation room at the top offering views all around. The estate also has its own private golf course and deep-water docks.
