Laurentian Lodge

At Laurentian Lodge, a wedding feels tucked away in the wilderness north of Elliot Lake, with a log dining room, a lakeside patio and a fire burning in the hearth.

The lodge has welcomed guests since 1929 and sits along Highway 639 north of Elliot Lake. It pairs a quiet wilderness setting with many of the comforts of home, and couples have long chosen it for its secluded, romantic feel.

The fully licensed log dining room has a wood burning fireplace, and its patio overlooks Mikel Lake. Next to it, the banquet hall holds up to 160 guests for dinner and dancing.

Guests can stay on site in the lodge's cottages and rooms, which turns the wedding into a getaway for everyone who travels north.
