I am a Unitarian Lay Chaplain, and licenced wedding officiant from Nanaimo, British Columbia. As a Unitarian and an LGBTQ+ ally, you can rest assured knowing that I will curate a deeply personal and meaningful ceremony, be they civil unions, elopements, religious, and non-religious weddings. If you prefer spiritual but not religious, I can do that too.

What area do you offer your services in?

I am based in Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island. I offer my services throughout the mid-Vancouver Island region.

We're not having a large wedding, how much will it cost?

As on officiant, the service is basically the same, whether it is the bride, groom and witnesses only, to several hundred guests. I work on a sliding scale with a maximum fee of $500, not including any mileage, etc.

What does your service include?

My services include an initial in person meeting (usually about 1 hour), and as many emails and phone calls with you to create a personal and meaningful ceremony. Also a rehearsal the day before and of course the ceremony itself. And filing of all legal documents.
