About
Klondike Spirit

Aboard the Klondike Spirit, a wedding party sets off down the Yukon River from Dawson City on the only operating paddlewheeler in the territory.

Local and seasonal crews have run narrated cruises on the river since 2007, sharing the story of Dawson City, the historic site of Moosehide and the Klondike Gold Rush along the way.

The boat can be reserved for private celebrations, including weddings. It carries up to 50 passengers, and everyone can be seated together in the dining area.

The crew can provide food service for the event and will try to meet special requests. Drinks are available on board, and tea and coffee are complimentary. Private bookings need at least 20 guests.

Cruises run from mid-May to early September, and guests may spot some of the Yukon's wildlife along the riverbanks.

For couples who picture toasting their marriage on the deck of a paddlewheeler as the Klondike drifts by, the Klondike Spirit offers a wedding with true gold rush romance.
