About
Kilby Historic Site

At Kilby, couples marry among rose gardens and orchard trees in a village that still looks much as it did in the early 1900s.

The five-acre BC heritage site sits in Harrison Mills, on the north shore of the Fraser River with mountains rising behind it, on the traditional territory of the Sq'éwlets and Sts'ailes peoples.

Its historic buildings include the 1906 General Store, the Manchester House Hotel and a post office, alongside the working Waterloo Farm with its animals.

The rose gardens and orchard make romantic settings for a ceremony and photos, with the old storefronts as a backdrop.

The site also has a home-style café and a 41-site campground, handy for guests who want to stay close.

Couples are invited to tour the grounds and meet the staff, who help shape each wedding to suit the setting.

For couples who picture a garden ceremony in a storybook heritage village by the river, Kilby offers a Fraser Valley wedding with a gentle sense of history.
