Some wedding days are best spent a little outside the city, where the fairways roll away under mature trees and the beach is only minutes away.
Kettle Creek Golf & Country Club sits on land once known as the historic Marr Farm in Port Stanley, Ontario. Today it is a scenic 18-hole course, and its rolling fairways and mature trees give the property a relaxed, open feel that suits a celebration.
The heart of a wedding here is the banquet hall, a bright, open space with a fireplace. It can comfortably host up to approximately 160 guests for a seated dinner reception, and later in the evening the room converts to a dance floor.
Ceremonies can take place on site as well. The club offers private outdoor scenery for exchanging vows, so the ceremony and reception can unfold in one location without anyone needing to travel between them.
The hall is designed to be personalized. Chair covers, an arbor and a podium are available, and couples are welcome to bring their own decorations or hire an outside decorator to shape the room around their own style.
Couples are also welcome to bring their own caterer, while the club's in-house bar service looks after drinks for every event held in the hall.
Location is part of the appeal. The club is in the heart of Port Stanley, close to the beach for photographs, and only a short drive from London, so guests can easily drive in or a couple might arrange a shuttle.
The club recommends booking at least one year in advance to secure a preferred date.
For couples who want a warm, flexible hall, an outdoor ceremony and the easy charm of Port Stanley close at hand, Kettle Creek Golf & Country Club offers a celebration that feels personal and wonderfully unhurried.
We never use a venue’s photos without permission.
