J & L Farms is a 22-acre farm and homestead in Kingsville, with lush Carolinian forests, native meadows and beautiful perennial gardens. It is owned by John and Lyndee Codinha, who bought the property in 2017.
The farm offers a variety of outdoor event locations around the property, from meadows and gardens to grassy fields and woodland settings, giving couples real choice in where to say their vows.
Ceremonies are the focus here. Packages welcome up to approximately 75 guests with five hours on the farm, or up to around 30 guests with three hours for a more intimate gathering.
Each ceremony package includes the location of your choice, decorated by the farm's event planner with personalized décor inspired by nature, along with wooden chairs, chair covers, sashes and special seating at the signing table.
Couples also enjoy unlimited contact with the event planner along the way, which can make the lead-up feel far more relaxed.
The property is also welcoming to photographers, making it a natural place for engagement or wedding portraits among the trees and gardens.
Tours of the farm can be arranged by appointment, a chance to walk the grounds and imagine where the ceremony might unfold.
