At the hotel once known as Shangri-La Vancouver, couples can exchange vows on a glass terrace above downtown and then move into a windowed ballroom to dine and dance.

The hotel occupies the tallest building in Vancouver, on West Georgia Street, with sweeping views of the harbour, the coastal mountains and the city. It now operates as Hyatt Vancouver Downtown Alberni and is set to become the city's Park Hyatt after a multi million dollar redesign.

Dinner and celebrations can draw on the hotel's Michelin recommended restaurant, Carlino, known for northern Italian cooking and pasta made in house.

Guests can stay in one of 119 contemporary guest rooms, and the hotel's spa and wellness amenities make it easy to unwind before or after the big day.
