Huber's Lone Pine Lodge

At Huber's Lone Pine Lodge, couples exchange vows under the trees with Wabigoon Lake spread out before them and the Northwestern Ontario wilderness all around.

This family lodge has been run by three generations of the Huber family since Walter and Rosa Huber came to Canada in the 1970s and fell for this corner of sunset country. It sits on the channel between Wabigoon and Dinorwic Lake, about 25 kilometres east of Dryden.

In 2019 the lodge opened its venue centre, the first on the shores of Wabigoon Lake. The rustic outdoor ceremony site sits among the trees and looks out over the water.

Receptions take place in a 40 by 80 foot event tent with 3,200 square feet of sheltered space. The wedding package includes use of the ceremony site, the tent, 200 chairs and 25 tables, and two nights in a cabin for the couple. White linens, a dance floor and stage, a bar, lighting and decorations can be added.

Friends and family can stay right on site, with more than 90 beds across 20 cottages and a full service RV park. The cottages have air conditioning, kitchenettes, private bathrooms and a barbecue on the deck, with hand crafted Bavarian style furniture inside.

Between celebrations, guests can fish for walleye, muskie, pike and bass, or gather in the games room for pool, foosball and darts.
