The newly renovated hotel sits in the village on Wolfe Island, a short ferry crossing from downtown Kingston. The ferry now docks in the village, so guests can walk to the hotel.

The Piano Room is a formal private dining room with white linens, lake views and a Steinway piano. It seats 60 comfortably, and live piano music can be arranged for dinner.

The dawson Restaurant seats up to 80, or 96 for cocktails, with a stage for a band, a pool table, a long bar and the same wide windows over the water.

The events manager and executive chef plan menus with locally sourced food, from canapés to seated dinners with wine service or a buffet with an open bar. Bands and DJs can be suggested.

Overnight guests can stay in 10 hotel rooms, two larger apartment suites and a small cottage.
