Heritage Estate Winery & Events is located in Barrie, in Barrie's only boutique vineyard and cidery, about an hour from Toronto and accessible via Highways 400 and 11.
The centrepiece is a glass-enclosed, temperature-controlled luxury tent that can accommodate up to approximately 300 guests for a reception with a dance floor. From mid-April to mid-November, couples can enjoy full outdoor experiences, including ceremonies, vineyard celebrations and receptions under the tent.
Ceremonies can be held on site in the pavilion, set up with seating, a canopy and a signing table, and year-round the Wine House hosts more intimate gatherings and private celebrations.
The venue is a full-service facility. It is fully liquor licensed, pouring Heritage Estate wines and ciders, and its staff of servers, bartenders and an on-site floor supervisor look after the event. Couples who book a wedding are invited to a chef's tasting.
Rustic cross-back chairs, leather lounge furniture, contemporary chandeliers, wood and acrylic bars, and linens are part of the setting, along with a contemporary makeup room for getting ready.
Landscaped grounds are available for photos, and there is an overnight honeymoon suite, complimentary parking and a complimentary wine tour with booking.
