About
Harbourview Event Centre at Pomquet Beach Cottages

At the Harbourview Event Centre, a wedding begins with a ceremony right on the water, beside one of the Northumberland Strait's beautiful beaches.

The centre stands in Pomquet, next to Pomquet Beach Provincial Park, about 10 minutes off the Trans Canada Highway and 20 minutes from downtown Antigonish. It is set among trees and nature, right at the water's edge.

The grounds leave plenty of room for a waterfront ceremony, and the indoor space doubles as a reliable backup if the weather turns.

Completed in 2022 and expanded in 2024, the building offers 2,560 square feet of open concept space filled with natural light, fully heated and air conditioned, plus outdoor seating areas. It holds up to 150 guests.

Guests can stay in the cottages on site, and the team can share a list of caterers, DJs and planners who have worked here before.

For couples who picture vows by the water and a bright, easy reception with the beach steps away, the Harbourview Event Centre offers a wedding full of seaside calm.
