Grandma Lambe's Wedding Barn (The Lambe Family Barn)

A wedding at Grandma Lambe's Wedding Barn feels like a celebration on the family farm, under old hemlock beams strung with twinkle lights.

The Lambe Family Barn was built in the 1920s and has been given new life as an event space beside the Grandma Lambe's farm market on Highway 26, just east of Meaford. The town sits between Owen Sound and Collingwood, with accommodations and wedding services close by.

The barn has two levels. The upper floor holds up to 150 guests beneath a lofted ceiling with its original hemlock beams, and includes a bar and a catering area. The main floor also welcomes up to 150 and has its own food preparation and serving area, with discreet outside doors for staff.

The rustic look is already in place, with burlap, twinkle lights and wagon wheel chandeliers. Couples can add their own decorations, as long as they are not permanent and are planned with the barn manager. A landscaped yard with twinkle lighting surrounds the building.

The barn is a space rental, so couples bring in their own caterer, florist and photographer.

The farm is known for its apples, with varieties ripening through August, September and October, which makes late summer and autumn a lovely time for photos among the orchard colours.
