Grand Victorian Convention Centre

At the Grand Victorian Convention Centre, a wedding takes place in ballrooms with soaring ceilings, sparkling light and a rooftop garden for fresh air between the toasts.

The centre is in Mississauga on Derry Road East, connected to the Radisson Toronto Airport West hotel, so guests can stay right where they celebrate.

The signature Grand Victorian ballroom has 26 foot ceilings and seats up to 660 guests for dinner. The Abigale room seats up to 390, and the Beatrice and Constance rooms can be used alone or joined together for a mid-size celebration. Smaller rooms such as Dorothy, Eleanor and Frederick suit intimate weddings.

On the third floor, the Garden View Room opens onto an outdoor Garden Terrace, a lovely spot for a cocktail hour or a smaller reception.

The kitchen offers a wide range of menus, including South Asian, Indian, Portuguese and classic dinner menus, along with desserts and a full bar list. Couples can also build their own menu.

Each event is given its own experienced event manager, and the planning team can help with decor, audio and visual needs, layout and coordinating with vendors. The venue welcomes weddings of many cultures and traditions.
